Long-Term Collaboration
Returning as another multi-year collaboration between Tinsel and our valued partners, we were honored to concept and design Sony Music Entertainment’s Grammys after party.
The strategic brief from the label was to create a sleek, stylized environment that didn’t depend heavily on logos or branding. Our team embraced this challenge with a strategic design process and a bold vision, transforming the space into an immersive experience that captivated over 600 guests, including notable artists like H.E.R., Harry Styles, Lizzo, and Leon Bridges.
Immersive Lighting Design
The thinking was to present immersive lighting design as a key element in setting the mood for the evening.
As the event progressed, the lighting slowly transitioned from a warm tangerine to a pastel peach hue, creating a dynamic and inviting atmosphere. This subtle shift in color not only enhanced the overall ambiance but also guided guests through different phases of the event, making each moment feel unique and memorable.
Architectural Focus
One of the standout features of the design strategy was the use of reflective gold arches.
These arches created internal reflection thresholds that acted like portals, adding depth and intrigue to the space. The arches were strategically placed to frame key areas of the room, drawing guests' attention and encouraging exploration. This design element was a nod to our commitment to pushing the boundaries of traditional event design, creating spaces that are both visually stunning and deeply engaging.
Luxurious Atmosphere
The interior design of the space was inspired by a blend of modern elegance and timeless sophistication.
We incorporated luxurious materials and textures, such as velvet, jutting palm fronds, and gold accents, to create a sense of opulence. The furniture was carefully selected to provide both comfort and style, with plush seating arrangements that invited guests to relax and enjoy the evening. The overall design was a testament to our ability to create environments that are not only beautiful but also functional and inviting.
